Hi!

Spring break's over and it's time to unpack that luggage and put away those mini shampoo bottles you brought home from the hotel.

Speaking of unpacking, this week's newsletter features a list of must-have items to remember to pack in your bag before you leave the hospital post-baby. Plus, I've got some alternative phrases you can use to calm your little one, a spot-on video about toddlers napping we can all relate to, a website to help you plan for your next vacation, and an adorable take on the at-home personal shopping trend - but for your kiddos!

Dust that sand out of the bottom of your luggage and let's do this!

1. SEVEN ITEMS TO "STEAL" FROM THE HOSPITAL AFTER YOU HAVE YOUR BABY

Here's a first for me: I'm going to recommend theft!

Ok, maybe it's not exactly a crime, but when you leave the hospital after having your baby there are definitely a few items you should pilfer on the way out the door.

After all, there's nothing like hospital-grade items. I've actually sent my husband back to get a few things I couldn't live without.

Here's my list of seven items you should take from the hospital.

And if you've made it home, unpacked, and want some advice on your little one's sleep or need help with some tricky toddler situations you're having, go here to schedule a FREE 15-minute call with me and we can chat about it!

Or, just reply to this email with any questions you have, and I'll be happy to answer.

2. 20 PHRASES TO CALM YOUR LITTLE ONE

It's not easy to calm your little one when they have a crisis - you know, like when they drop a toy.

(Our little ones have a slightly different definition of "crisis" than we do!)

Luckily, this list of 20 things to say to your child instead of "Don't cry" is here to help.

Personally, my go-to phrases are "I've got you," "I'm right here," and "I'm not going anywhere." At the end of the day, these big feelings your kiddo's having are hard and they just wants to be heard.

3. THE TRUTH HURTS

You know that moment when you hear your toddler wake up early from their nap? It feels like this.

4. THE SECRET WEAPON FOR BOOKING YOUR NEXT VACATION (OR TWO)

I know with one or multiple kids in tow we're always looking for the best airline ticket price out there.

This CheapAir.com guide to the best time to buy flights will help you figure out the prime booking windows, the best day of the week to fly, and when to book a seasonal vacation.

It's got ALL the secrets.

5. PINT-SIZED PERSONAL SHOPPING

I truly love this idea - with our busy schedules these days, sometimes you just don't have the time to shop for your little ones.

Enter Mac and Mia - styled, quality (and trendy) clothes that ship right to your door.

My kids love opening their boxes as soon as they hit the welcome mat.

That wraps up this issue!

Hope you enjoyed it and I'd LOVE if you shared it with your friends on social media or spread the word on the local Mommy gossip circuit - thanks!
